I love Lewis, and I love Gàidhlig. I hope to one day be able to string some sentences together into a coherent conversation. Until then, I stumble about wishing things were different and my great granny hadn't had it battered out of her by a brutal and unjust schooling system a hundred years ago. I want to do what I can to put Gàidhlig into things that I do, so I was playing about with the laser and the outline of the Outer Hebrides. My good chum Billy said to me, have a wee bit space in my shop and see if any passers by on the Heb Way like your stuff.
And so I did. In The Tweed Shack in Achmore, some laser etched coasters are for sale, wrapped in tweed woven on-site by Billy, or you can find framed souvenirs of the Hebridean Way laser cut with or without tweed backing. You can have them personalised too - just ask me what you want on them and we can have a chat about it.
